It's not a trip to Philly unless you eat at Sweet Charlie's Ice Cream. Unless, you are a group 9 girls (and half without debit or credit cards). Well lets just say they lost some business today. But on another note, it is a pretty cool ice cream shop, and how they make the ice-cream is super fun to watch.
Everything happens for a reason.
Instead we headed down the street to 20th and Locus Street to Lil' Pop Shop! At first I was a little upset, because we were all looking forward to eating at Sweet Charlie's. Though as soon as I came in site with Lil' Pop Shop, my day was brightened and I got in the mood to eat a popsicle.
They make all their popsicles with fresh ingredients at their West Philly location. Every flavor from chocolate brownie to raspberry is available, and they come in two sizes. They then (if you would like) dip it in a dark gluten free chocolate and can add any toppings you would like.
The lady who was working there was super sweet and willing to answer all of our questions. In addition, the space to sit inside was super cute (so of course I took advantage).
The Popsicle I enjoyed was the mint one, dipped in chocolate with sprinkles on top! BEST POPSICLE EVER!!
Hope y'all have a great weekend!
